What do administrator, non-administrator, and contacts mean? What are their respective permissions?

  • Administrator:

The initial user who pairs the watch with their account.

Administrators have full access to core settings. Permissions include:

Device Binding & Management

  • Bind/unbind new members or new watches

  • Data migration from old watch to new watch

  • Device permission management

Location & Security Protection

  • Set up safety zones

  • Anti-loss and anti-theft management for the watch

  • Locate watch (requires network connection)

  • Set watch password unlock

  • SMS whitelist configuration

Communication & Contact Management

  • Configure phone contacts

  • Text chat (messages synced to the watch in real time)

Personalization & Basic Settings

  • Scan QR code to download watch faces

  • Set time zone and language

  • Connect to Wi-Fi

  • Enable low-power mode

  • Configure reminders, alarms and pedometer

Schedule & System Management

  • Set school hours and power on/off schedules

  • Watch firmware upgrade

  • Non-administrator/family member:

  • A person who pairs their account with the watch by scanning a shared QR code.

  • Permissions include the following:

    • Viewing the watch settings configured by administrators;

    • Group chatting;

    • Voice or video calling;

    • Sending messages to other contacts;

    • Viewing the child’s geographic location in real-time.

  • Phone Contacts:

  • People added to the watch contacts via phone numbers(a maximum of 20 contacts can be added).

  • Permissions are limited to making calls to the watch.
